Marium advises our clients on how to strengthen healthcare systems and tackle global health issues to meet the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

She brings 15 years of Pharmaceutical Industry experience from GlaxoSmithKline in global and regional senior roles in R&D, Global Manufacturing Supply, Commercial and Global Health. She has led initiatives and programs across 27 countries in Asia, Africa, Middle East and Latin America. Her commercial thinking, strategy and operations experience alongside her strong understanding of the differences in healthcare systems has helped to shape and deliver models to meet client and country needs. Most recently as commercial strategy and operations director she was involved in developing digital health, patient centric platforms and applications to increase patient engagement and help in personal therapeutic treatment and health management.

Marium has a wealth of global health experience in developing truly-ground-breaking solutions to address major global health challenges such as in Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), exploring digital interventions for identifying counterfeit drugs in low and middle-income countries, compliance to medication to minimise Asthma & COPD. She has worked with the pharmaceutical industry, INGO’s such as the WHO, COVAX in GAVI, Medicines Malaria Venture (MMV), The Global Fund, International Federation of Pharma Associations (IFPMA), local governments and academia.

Marium speaks English and Urdu and is learning Arabic.
