It has been a busy year for us at Sovereign Strategy. As we wrap up 2022, here are some of our top highlights:
Diversity is at the heart of everything we do.
This year, we were proud sponsors of the Labour Business Relations Diversity Business Reception. Attended by over 150 Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic business leaders, as well as Labour’s Shadow Cabinet. Our CEO; Hatice Küçük Beton, spoke alongside Shadow Chancellor, Rachel Reeves MP; Abena Oppong-Asare MP; Shadow Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury and Vaughan Gething MS; Welsh Minister of Economy.
We have supported local communities.
During these challenging times for young people, we sponsored the North London children’s football club IMOPE. IMOPE Development FC has been set up IN MEMORY OF PAUL ERHAHON (IMOPE) who had great potential in sports and music and fell victim to a knife crime in 2007 at the age of 14. With this contribution, we hope to help kids get off the streets and help build their talents and self-esteem.
Annual Party Conference season has been amazing for us and our clients.
We helped to deliver a programme of events for all of our clients this year at the The Conservative Party and The Labour Party Annual Conferences. We also hosted an International event in partnership with the Labour Party, bringing together international delegates and Labour politicians for a panel discussion.
We have effectively collaborated with a wide range of Embassies.
We made successful business trips across the globe.
We connected 40% of our client base with trusted government, business and academic partners in the MENA region to advance global health aligned with SDG Goals.
We are continuing to bridge the gap between the UK and Europe.
We recognise the importance of the EU to our clients. Our Chair, Alan Donnelly served as Leader of the European Parliamentary Labour Party. Alan’s expertise puts us on the forefront of effective EU engagement.
We worked with Germany on the G7 Presidency.
We have successfully collaborated on the G20 and T20 stakeholders in Indonesia.
As part of our pro bono work through Sovereign Sustainability and Development that operates the secretariat of the The G20 Health and Development Partnership Initiative, we had a successful collaboration with the G20 and T20 in Indonesia and hosted the H20 Summit. G20 policymakers, international organisations, international NGOs, the private sector, and academia joined in discussions on sustainable financing for health.
