Gary began his career in San Francisco, working across Montgomery Securities, Robertson Stephens, Bank of America Securities, Charles Schwab and Wells Fargo Private Banking, building a grounding in capital markets, private wealth and institutional trading during a formative period for the West Coast financial industry.
He then moved to London to join JPMorgan, working within its prime brokerage and institutional derivatives group, advising and executing on behalf of major institutional clients across global markets.
From there, Gary moved into fintech leadership, holding senior roles at SunGard and FIS Global, two of the world’s largest financial technology providers. Across both, he managed major projects and product divisions spanning capital markets and investment banking, working closely with banks, brokers and exchanges on the systems that underpin global trading infrastructure.
His career then took him to Singapore and Australia, where he co-founded a technology firm, building it from the ground up and leading it through to a successful exit in 2024. The experience gave him direct, founder-level exposure to building a business end to end, from product and team to commercial strategy and sale.
Gary has since returned to London, bringing together a career built across four continents and three decades of financial markets, technology and entrepreneurship. His experience spans institutional banking, enterprise fintech and founder-led business building, giving him a rare, full-spectrum view of how financial technology businesses are built, scaled and sold.
He holds an MSc from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
