Ileana worked in the European Parliament for three years in policymaking in the audiovisual sector and copyright, among others. After coordinating a successful campaign in the 2017 general election, she moved to London to work in the House of Commons. Ileana’s experience in the private sector includes business development in the fintech sector, research and trade bodies.

She holds an MSc in Political Science from the University of Mannheim with a focus on Game Theory and Statistics, where she wrote her thesis on legislative patterns on moral issues in Ireland. She speaks Romanian, English, French and intermediary-level Spanish.
